Common Fencing Materials

When you are looking for a new fence, you have plenty of fencing material options. One of the first things you need to decide is what building material to use. While many people have aesthetic preferences, choosing the right building material also involves other factors, like cost, durability, and maintenance associated with the different types of fences.

Aluminum is a favorite fencing material. It is lightweight, does not require paint or stain, and is easy to install. We can customize the height and length of the panels to fit almost any space. It is not an excellent choice for areas with high wind.

Chain link fences are not fancy-looking, but they can look clean and neat. They are also budget-friendly. If you do not want an obstructed view, chain ink is a good choice. However, it does not offer a visual barrier or block sound. It is also not considered fancy and may not be permitted in all areas. There are other, more attractive types of fences for yards, but chain link remains a go-to for commercial properties. While they are easy to install, they do require special fencing tools to install.

Wood fences are a classic solution. No wonder they are one of the most popular types of privacy fences. They are versatile, have a natural look, and go with almost any environment. They are also available at different price points, from very affordable to very expensive. Wood fences are easy to install and can go on almost any property. However, they require regular maintenance.

Vinyl fences are a low-maintenance option. They may be the lowest-maintenance of all the fencing types. They are resistant to rot, easy to maintain, can last for a few decades, and come in a range of styles and options. They are more expensive than some options, but are still a relatively affordable option.

Wrought iron is one of the most expensive types of fence materials. These fences are classic, lending a property an elegant, timeless look. You can customize them to match your décor, including painting or powder coating to match your décor. Wrought iron is expensive, which means it is not a budget option. However, it is vulnerable to extreme weather conditions. Still, it is one of the most beautiful fence types if you can afford it.
